CODE OF CONDUCT

Divisions and Age Groups
Athletes are divided into divisions based on their age as of January 1, 2026. Divisions are further split by male/female gender (please see Season Rules – Addendum: Athlete Eligibility for more information). Athletes may compete “up” one division if they choose. However, once an athlete competes in a division, he/she MUST remain in that division for the remainder of the Season VII (up to and including FINA Finals in July 2026). Divisions and their descriptions are as follows:
7U – Ages 5, 6, 7
9U – Ages 8, 9
11U – Ages 10, 11
13U – Ages 12,13
Young Adult – Ages 14-24
Amateur – Age 25+
Masters – Age 40+
Elite – Age 13+ (The most challenging division; open to all athletes 13+ who are looking to test themselves against the best athletes and courses in FINA)
7U may compete “up” in 9U
9U may compete “up” in 11U
11U may compete “up” in 13U
13U may compete “up” in Young Adult or Elite.
Young Adult may compete “up” in Elite
Amateur may compete “up” in Elite
Masters may compete “up” in Amateur or Elite
AN ATHLETE MUST COMPETE IN THE SAME DIVISION FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE SEASON.
