Registration is now closed. The run orders are posted below. We have 5 spots per division available for additional late registrations beginning today. All attendees (who are not registered and competing athletes) of the Expo over the age of 3 must have a spectator ticket.

Prices shown indicate early ticket pricing / on site ticket pricing. Please note that all 3-day passes are good for that specific 3-day window ONLY.

We are looking for a LOT of help this year for Finals, and we need your help! Volunteering is great way to get involved with the event, be a part of the action, and even help to pay for some of the costs! We need help with registration, line managers, course setup, and more! FINA is proud to offer the following perks for our volunteers in Harrisburg:

4 hours: Reimbursement for a FINA 3-day spectator pass (July 11-13) (value $45) OR $40 FINA store gift card!

Athlete Check-In Spectator Tickets Athlete Registration Qualification

Registration Check-In (for competitor wristbands and spectator bands) will be available on Friday, July 10th from 10am – 7pm at the Expo Hall.

Registration check in will also be available on Friday, July 10th at Dexterity Depot and Urban Playground during Open Gym .

After these times, there will be athlete registration check-in available but it will be limited by the availability of volunteers and check-in staff. Please plan to arrive in plenty of time to get your bands and be on time for the walkthroughs.

Spectators will be able to purchase 1-day, 3-day, and 6-day passes for the Obstacle Sports Expo. Spectator tickets will be for all events running that day at the Expo. 3-dayy spectator passes will be available for July 11-13 OR July 14-16 ONLY.

Athlete registration for FINA Finals, UNAA Finals, or the Ninja World Cup will provide admission for the athlete to all 6 days of the Expo.

Registration for FINA is now closed. Athletes may place their name on a waitlist to run first in their division at FINA Finals this year.

There will be no on-site athlete registration. This includes “adding-on” events. All registrations must be completed before the event.

All athletes must pre-qualify for FINA Finals events. Athletes who have not pre-qualified for FINA event Finals will not be eligible to register or compete in Pennsylvania.

Athletes qualify to Speed Finals by:
1. Finishing in the top eight (8) of their division at a FINA Speed Sectional
2. Fully clearing the Speed course AND finishing ninth (9th) or tenth (10th) at a FINA Speed Sectional
3. Finishing in the top five (5) of a FINA Speed International event (as designated on the FINA website by FINA Administration).

Athletes qualify to Endurance Finals by:
1. Finishing in the top eight (8) of their division at a FINA Endurance Sectional
2. Fully clearing the Endurance course AND finishing ninth (9th) or tenth (10th) at a FINA Endurance Sectional
3. Finishing in the top five (5) of a FINA Endurance International event (as designated on the FINA website by FINA Administration).
4. Finishing first (1st) in their division at the NCNS Finals (Nov. 2025)

Athletes qualify to Ninja vs. Ninja Finals by:
1. Qualifying to Speed OR Endurance Finals
2. Finishing in the top four (4) of their division at a season VII FINA Ninja vs. Ninja event

FINA General Course Rules

The following General Course Rules will be applicable to all divisions at FINA Finals for all events. Specific Course Rules will be provided in a walk-through (either by video or in-person).

Athletes must start ON or IN the starting block, platform, or designated start area of the event. Running starts are not allowed.

INCIDENTAL CONTACT WITH THE GROUND OR PADDING IS NOT ALLOWED. Any contact with the ground or padding will constitute a fail on that obstacle. *Any potential exceptions to this rule will be clarified during the initial course review at the beginning of each division.

Contact with the truss IS allowed. Athletes may not climb the truss, and must be engaged with part of the obstacle or landing platform during contact with a truss. There will be some trusses where only minor incidental contact (light brush or touch) is allowed. These will be clearly marked for all athletes, and will be announced during the walkthrough.*Any potential exceptions to this rule will be clarified during the initial course review at the beginning of each division.Athletes must stick the landing on ALL landing blocks. Athletes may NOT fall forward, backward, or off the side of a block.

Athletes MUST stay within the confines of their lane during their run. Leaving the set course parameters during a run will be a fail on that obstacle.

Athletes may not engage the first obstacle until the fourth “beep” of the timing system. In the event of a false start during an NvN race, both athletes will be recalled to the starting line and the race will be restarted. A second false start by the same athlete will disqualify that athlete’s run.

Interference by a coach, parent, or spectator with any part of the course, obstacles, timing system, or athlete will constitute a fail for the athlete on that obstacle. Multiple or repeated violations will result in the athlete’s disqualification from the FINA event, or FINA Finals as a whole. This call is NOT subject to review.

Athletes may have ONE (1) Coach and ONE (1) Parent / Videographer on the course during the run ONLY. All other spectators must remain outside the barricades. First violation will result in a warning, and repeated violations will result in suspension or disqualification for the athlete or gym in question. This is for the safety of the many volunteers and staff members of the FINA Finals team.
*specific exceptions to this rule may be granted for single parents with small children. Exception requests may be made to the specific event’s Course Director during or directly before the wave in which the athlete will be running.

FINA Review Policy

The following guidelines apply to video reviews for all divisions at FINA Finals.

Reviews must be presented in a respectful and appropriate manner. Any review that is presented otherwise is subject to immediate dismissal.

Athletes may only request to have their OWN run reviewed. We will not allow requested reviews of any athlete other than the one requesting the review. Judges have the right to initiate a review of any run at their own discretion.

Athletes are responsible for providing the video for review. FINA is not able to provide video recordings of any athlete’s run. Athletes may use the FINA livestream for the review, but must have it queued up on their own device at the beginning of the run in question.

FINA will review the athlete’s ENTIRE run and reserves the right during a video review to adjust the athlete’s score up or down based on the information and results determined during that review.

Reviews must be presented within 5 minutes of the end of the athlete’s wave, or 10 minutes after the athlete’s run (whichever is later).

Video evidence must show a clear, definitive, and unobstructed view of the disputed call to be overturned. Any ambiguity in the video will result in the original call standing.

Video reviews may only look for the following:

– Whether contact with the pad, truss, or obstacle support occurred

– Obstacle malfunction

– Course interference by a judge or another athlete on the course

– Timing Issues

We will NOT review calls of:

– Calls regarding excessive truss or obstacle support usage / excessive incidental contact

– Obstacle fail due to course interference by a coach, parent, or supporter

– Obstacle fail due to lack of understanding of the rules by athlete, coach, or parent

– False start rulings

– Final button press issues (unless specifically initiated by a judge)

*The final button is very sensitive and will record the final completion time with simple downward pressure. A slap or press to the side of the button or on an angle may not register. Be sure to press the button straight down (we encourage more than once) to ensure the most accurate end time result. “Cupping” your hand to match the shape of the buzzer does NOT work as well as a flat hand. It is the athlete’s responsibility to not walk away from their run or drop down until they have ensured the timer has stopped. Unless an egregious issue arises, FINA will not review a “non-press” of the final button.

Athlete Event Information

Attire

All FINA athletes, regardless of age or division, must have attire that includes a top and bottom to compete at Finals (unitards are acceptable, provided they cover both top and bottom). Attire should be modest and respectful to the Ninja community and families present. All athletes must have closed toe, closed heels shoes. Jewelry should be kept to a minimum and may be asked to be removed at the discretion of the Judge.

Chalk

Liquid chalk is STRONGLY encouraged and will be provided at all rigs for those who need it. Loose, powdered chalk should be used only on the Endurance course, and only if necessary. Slap Chalks and contained chalk bags are acceptable, but liquid chalk is preferred.

Coaching

Athletes may have ONE coach and ONE videographer walk alongside the course during their run. All other persons must be behind the tape line at the beginning of the course, or behind the barriers. Groups of people are not allowed to “chase” the athlete down the course. All group celebration hugs should be done outside the barriers for the event.

Awards

Awards will be done in the Banquet Hall at the set times listed, for the designated events and divisions. If a division runs past its designated award time, awards will take place either immediately after the division ends, or at the next awards time (this will be announced on Facebook and live at the venue).

We award the top 5 in each division for each event. The overall World Championship medals will be presented on last day of competition, and are designated on the awards schedule. See below for the Awards Schedule.

Speed Endurance Ninja vs. Ninja Overall World Champion

FINA Speed Finals will be scored the same as FINA Speed Qualifiers and Sectionals.

Athletes will receive one point for each obstacle successfully completed with the time limit.

Athletes will receive two runs on the course, with only the athlete’s best run recorded.

Run order will be determined by Speed Sectional placement points followed by total season Speed obstacle points.

Medals will be awarded to the top five (5) athletes in each division.

FINA Endurance Finals will be scored the same as FINA Endurance Qualifiers and Sectionals.

Athletes will receive one point for each obstacle successfully completed with the time limit.

Athletes will receive one run on the course.

Run order will be determined by Endurance Sectional placement points followed by total season Endurance obstacle points.

Medals will be awarded to the top five (5) athletes in each division.

Each athlete will receive two seeding runs on the course. These seeding runs will be run as head to head races, but will result in individual scores for each athlete (not determined by winner/ loser).

The top 16 athletes in each division will return at the end of their division time to participate in a double elimination bracket of head-to-head races (determined by winner/loser) to determine an ultimate division champion.

Run order will be determined first by Sectional / Ninja vs. Ninja placement points, and then by total season obstacle points.

Medals will be awarded to the top four (4) athletes in each division.

Athletes who participate in all three (3) FINA Finals events (Speed Finals, Endurance Finals, and Ninja vs. Ninja Finals) are eligible for the World Championship awards.

Individual athlete placement from all three events will be added together to determine the FINA World Champion, and medals will be awarded to the top five (5) finishers in each division.
*Ties will be broken using the athlete standings from the Ninja vs. Ninja Finals.

The top three (3) athletes in the ELITE MALE and ELITE FEMALE in the Word Championship standings will be awarded cash prizes. More details will be coming soon.

*Athletes must compete in all three Finals events to be eligible for the World Champion medals and cash prizes.

Schedules and Run Orders

Run orders for Finals are set according to each athlete’s results from Sectionals, followed by the total number of season obstacle points.
Specific run orders will be posted approximately two weeks after registration has closed, and will be available on this website.

Run Orders

Run orders for each division are posted below. There are tabs on the bottom of each link for the specific events for that division.

Things to remember:

Run orders are set according to Sectionals placement and season standings. Any changes to this run order must be made by FINA Admin. These are NOT general wave times – you are scheduled to run in this order. If you miss you scheduled run time, you will not be allowed to make it up (unless authorized by FINA Admin). This includes both runs on the Speed course.
Speed and NvN consist of TWO athlete runs. Both runs will take place during the same wave. After you finish your first run, DO NOT LEAVE!! If you miss your second run, you will not be allowed to make it up. Both of these events move FAST (particularly NvN) – please stay alert and focused so you don’t miss your run time.
Every attempt will be made to keep to this schedule. If we are more than 30 minutes behind for a division, we will post an update to Facebook. If we are running ahead, we will begin when everyone has checked in, but will stay no more than 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
Mid-day walkthroughs will be a short review of the course. The comprehensive walkthrough will take place at the beginning of the division. Athletes who miss the walkthrough will NOT be given a personal walkthrough by the judge or Course Administrator. Every attempt will be made to post a video walkthrough of the event the evening before – we will post more information about this as it becomes available.
Minor changes may be made to this run order after publication, but should not affect an athlete’s scheduled run time by more than 30 minutes. The run orders below will update automatically with any changes. Please check back to confirm your athlete’s specific run time and order before the date of competition. Any changes that have a larger impact on an athlete’s run will be handled directly with that athlete.

Awards

Awards will take place at set times during the day. The list of divisions and times for award ceremonies is to the left. If a division runs past its scheduled awards time, the award for that division will take place either directly after the completion of the division or at the next award ceremony time. This will be announced on Facebook and in person at the venue.

Awards are given to the top 5 in each division for each event, with the overall World Champion awards taking place on the last day.
