General Sectionals information:
- Athletes may participate in, and compete at, any Sectionals they choose, as many times as they would like.
- Because athletes are allowed to participate in additional Sectionals, FINA WILL BE rolling down the leaderboard to take the top 5 athletes who have not previously qualified for Finals.
- All Speed and Endurance points earned at Sectionals will count towards the athlete’s season total Speed and Endurance points – that total, in conjunction with Sectionals placement, will be used to determine the run order for FINA Finals.
- All athletes are expected to abide by the FINA Athlete Code of Conduct (found HERE).
General Registration information:
- Registration for Sectionals will open March 1st. To register for a FINA Sectional, please click on the Gym below to go to that Gym’s registration page.
- Registration will close at 8:00 p.m. EST on the Wednesday before each Sectional. All late registrations must contact FINA directly to register (info@fina.ninja) and will be subject to a $20 late registration fee.
- Registration may be refunded until registration closes for the Sectional. Once registration has closed, no refunds will be issued.

All registrations after the Wednesday deadline each week MUST be processed directly through FINA and are subject to a $20 late registration fee.
ATHLETES MUST QUALIFY TO SPEED AND ENDURANCE SECTIONALS SEPARATELY. For qualification requirements, please see Season Qualifiers.
To confirm qualification status, click on Results and Standings at the top of this page, then choose Standings. Click on the athlete age division to see the qualification status of all athletes. Athletes qualified for Sectionals will have a green Q next to their name. Toggle between Speed and Endurance with the pull-down menu on the right.
